Welcome to the NRL !

The NRL was founded in Rostock in 2005 and moved to Magdeburg in December 2011. Our research focusses on neurodegenerative diseases with special emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease. We also investigate clearance and mitochondrial mechanisms in Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, ALS and other proteopathies of the brain.
